Forgiving Life

Social media flashes an endless stream of micro statements and messages that create reactions within us. Many people’s beliefs these days are formed by not what they experience around them but what a screen tells them is real. Every single story has more than one side. Some people are fed one perspective and others the opposite. Emotionally driven by curated realities people define their alignments. ... ... Yet, if you walk outside, find a tree and sit below it somewhere in nature, if you stop and listen to a bird, watch some butterflies for a few hours in reality what you are feeding yourself can change everything. A whole different reality exists in nature.
My brain was hurt recently (the ministroke) and somehow because I could not read or focus normally at the end of the day because of neural fatigue I began watching social media streams at night. These really awfully scripted dramatic movie shorts like the billionaire heiress lives in a trash can kind of genre. At first I was in awe because never before in my entire life life have I really been able to watch tv, finish a movie, watch a soap opera. I have known people who could do this so I imagined what it was like for them. But then it formed a habit that became hard to resist. Watching utter emptiness late at night.
The Creator was speaking to me during this time - he showed me that the micro-videos open portals in our minds - that we do not control it. That caused me to wonder about the depths of seemingly innocent videos - what layers could really exist there - subtle hidden programming. Also that feeling when a song you wished you did not listen to because it is still in your mind days later. He showed me one day when I was scrolling through X what the people really looked like who caught my attention - demons - he showed me demons upon demons speaking out of the screen. That caused me to realize that me waking up and needing to see what was happening politically and what I was viewing was being curated by dark forces - something different that the Creator and what he is authoring.
That reminded me of an ancient text in a book called Isaiah.
“Do not call conspiracy
everything this people calls a conspiracy;
do not fear what they fear,
and do not dread it.
After binge watching some more Billionaire heiress that forgot her name returns or something of that nature - all the scripts seem to repeat each other - I noticed I was captivated by the cruelness of the antagonists - like people really exist like that? Are we saying that is ok? I had a clear vision sitting at the top of this was a demonic principality. I like to choose who I hang out with in the spiritual realm if at all possible and made my decision there that enough is enough. No more of these shorts.
Then I thought why I was doing this - boredom, inability to sleep, neural fatigue, not wanting to spend time with myself, or something that I used to love deeply... a great book. Scrolling is baffling because one scroll can become hours. What a world we live in. I had a vision though, about being an overcomer and what it takes to be that. Forgiveness. After so much time in the scroll, I needed to up my forgiveness state.
Imagine today if we forgave the world around us? The actors? The angry? The personas that we declare is the cause of everything that is wrong. Imagine if we forgive them? Imagine we forgive history, the now, the bloodshed, the ignorance, the greed, Imagine if we forgive today. Our own inability to make a difference outside of us - imagine if we took control and made the single most powerful move hidden in the chessboard of life and just say I forgive you. I forgive you for cutting that tree, saying those words, Imagine if we spoke into the wind every single emotion that is tied up within ourselves as each scroll takes us through everything we need to judge and hate. Imagine if you too can overcome the world.
In an ancient text, Yeshua once said
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.“
He also said that by believing in him you can do the same things. Forgiveness is a door to peace. We can change what is within us and in doing so remove from us the same energy we hate in others.
Forgiveness is a foundation.
I wrote a forgiveness practice here https://www.lifetaught.com/forgiveness (The new site is not quite live yet still editing (human, not theologian, just an ordinary woman) but enjoy).
